The story behind these Christian posters

Before I knew God in a personal way, I was a rebellious young artist, at the Royal Academy of Arts in Bruges (Belguim). I was a drugsdealer and had one main dream in life: become rich and famous with my talents and have a life of success and pleasure.

I was very unhappy, lonely and empty inside and I thought that becoming very succesful in life would help me become a happy person. But I was so wrong...

After an overdose of drugs, I broke down and God stepped into my life. I felt He was the One I truly needed and I found Him in a very powerful and lifechanging way. I knelt down in my home, at two o'clock in the morning and I surrendered my life to Him.

After having lived without God for so many years and having tried to fill my life with the stuff of the world, I knew: there is no hope to become fulfilled in this world, without my creator.

He embraced me with a love and a power I never, ever thought possible. This changed my life completely.

From that time on I decided I wanted to use my talents to show God's love and power to the world.

Shortly after I had finished Art University I started my own business and for a couple of years I made good money with this. But the desire to serve God with my gift, kept burning in my heart. I became tired of spending all my energy and time building worldly companies that just wanted to make a lot of money. This didn't fulfill me at all. I wanted to build the kingdom of God, and see lives transformed.

I wanted to help people find the reality of the God who loves them.

During that time I started having these images in my mind about powerful Christian posters. I had never made a Christian poster yet, but the images kept coming to me.

One day I was asked to go to the office of my largest client, a producer of greeting cards. When I started working for them they were on the edge of bankrupcy. But since I started designing their collections, they had become succesful again.

What happened that day was a shock... The manager said: 'we don't need you any longer. We have hired someone who will build upon the designs you have made. He is very cheap, so we don't need your services anymore.'

It was a shock, but at the same time I felt a relief... I was free to do what I wanted for God! So I started working on my first Christian posters.

I had a burning desire to use my gifting combined with the possibilities of computers, to visualize something of the unexpressable beauty and glory of God.

I wanted Christians to see how amazing God is, how great He is, how incredible His beauty and power is, how deep His love is. I wanted to see people grab hold of God in a deeper way. And I felt that posters that shows God's heart, could be a tool to help with this.

God soooo wants us to know that we are loved, precious, valuable, carried, blessed and redeemed.

He sooo wants you to see HIS HEART FOR YOU, His heart that is so full of love and compassion. HE DIED FOR YOU! What else can He do to show you His deep burning desire for you?

The posters on this website are one of the results of obeying this call, to serve God with all I have.

I pray these posters will be a deep blessing for you.

Please use them also to show to non-christians the glory of Jesus Christ. Most people have a very boring image of God, based upon a dead religious system that has controlled the Church for centuries.


But Jesus Christ is the most alive, most energetic, most powerful, most glorious man there is. He is the Son of God! He is so amazing.

When people start to realize how fascinating Jesus Christ is, it can help them surrender their heart and life to Him.

Posters can also help to start a talk about Jesus. So please use them.

And also give them to friends, beloved ones and family. The posters are a real blessing for people, and it is a very original gift too.
